How does one get a controller device to work with the windows OS? I’ve got windows 98 SE with plus and loads of software and games full working, but trying to get Lucas arts X-wing and TIE Fighter games to work but after installation and intro it bombs out due to no mandatory joystick device installed in OS. I’ve tried installing different devices, and configuring RetroArch while using my Backbone controller, I can use the controller even in windows but I believe that’s because RetroArch recognizes it as an input. I cannot seem to get a joystick device to say “connected”.
